What is it?
We are so excited to offer our Mahj community a league that provides the opportunity for you to have a standing mahjong game, sharpen your skills, improve your confidence and strategy, and make new Mahj friends in the process. Enjoy flexibility to set your own match schedule. Play as often as you want, whenever best suits you, and wherever you find convenient—you work it out with your fellow players!
The Bambird Scramble is a Team and Single ladder competition. Teams may have 2-4 members but register individually and list their team-mates. ​NO more than 2 players from each team should accept the same match. A Mahj Match will consist of 4 games. You are welcome to play additional games following the completion of the first 4 games played, if all parties agree, BUT only the first 4 game scores will be counted. Please note, the winter league will consist of one ladder and players choose and accept the matches they want while noting the self-rank of the other players.

Three seasons are offered each year, each lasting 7-8 weeks. Single players/teams who propose/challenge others will receive 7 additional points (in addition to game score points) for each match played. Ladder position and ranking will change weekly depending on matches played. At the end of the season, top single player/team will win a cash prize. In the event of a tie, the prize will be evenly split.
